About Jesus and the Church?
We believe that Jesus Christ is coming again soon and we, as His Body, must prepare ourselves to be ready for His return. Being ready also means sending forth a warning call to help prepare others. We anticipate a great harvest of souls before His return and we all have a part to play in this harvest. We believe that the Last Days Church will be a victorious, overcoming church that is in love with her Bridegroom. We do not anticipate being caught up and raptured out of the earth before the tribulation troubles begin. We believe that the victorious Church will be standing strong and doing battle against our enemy, Satan, until the time of Jesus’ return. Then we will see Him and be caught up together with Him. He will overcome Satan and will reign on the earth as King of His Kingdom for 1000 years.
About the Holy Spirit?
We believe the gifts of the Holy Spirit are in full operation and increasing in the Body of Christ in these last days. Truly, God is pouring out His Spirit on His sons and daughters in these days. These gifts are essential for us to be the victorious Bride of Christ on the earth. We encourage the children in learning to hear from God for themselves and to be confident of His desire to communicate with His people. Freedom of expression through singing, music, dance, and art is a vital part of communicating what God is saying and doing in our generation. We encourage the children to know their strengths and weaknesses in God and to know how to rely on His grace to accomplish His purpose in their lives.
About the next generation?
We believe that Jesus loves the young generation and the He wants to draw them unto Himself, that those who believe in His salvation are filled with the Holy Spirit and they receive the same Holy Spirit that adults receive, a perfectly mature Spirit. Children are able to receive from God just as adults are, if not more, because their hearts are uncluttered and receptive to the Spirit. This is why Jesus says we must become like little children. Children hear from God and we must pay attention to their insights, revelations and dreams. We are here to coach, not squelch, the Holy Spirit’s activity in their lives. We do not have to water down the Word of God for these young warriors. Rather, we need to build them up and feed them a steady diet of the Word, so that their spirits can be strong and filled with faith. We need to give them role models, both from the Word and from the lives of our contemporaries, that often show young people like Samuel, David and Joshua, doing great exploits for God. We need to believe that this is how God sees our children.
About the world we live in?
Unfortunately, the world is in chaos. Our children are not growing up in a child-friendly atmosphere. We need to show them how big our God is and how much He loves them so that fear will not overtake them. Instead, they need to know that fear has no place in the life of a warrior and that God has made them strong enough to face whatever may come. The Bible tells us that God’s grace is sufficient for us and that “in this life we will have tribulation, but be of good cheer because He has overcome the world.” Our children need to understand the world we live in is not one of “happily ever after” according to the world’s standards. However, there is ultimate victory in store for the upright! In order to be prepared for these last days, they must be exposed to the hardships that others have faced and the victories they have won for the sake of the Kingdom. We do not seek to sensationalize either the sufferings or the comforts, but rather to present Truth, as the Word does, not the world. We love to expose the children to the real-life stories of missionaries and other champions for God that persevered and faithfully ran the race marked out for them. Jesus is our Super hero and the men and women that faithfully follow Him are the role models we seek to promote.
