Archimedes gave us a solid foundation for understanding how things work and how to make life easier by using simple machines. Studying textbook science can be rather boring, but when we add action to our learning it’s much more fun and the ideas stick better. This week we examined levers and inclines that we use in our every day life. Then the kids made their own levers and tested force needed to pull things up various inclines.
Thank you, Archimedes, for making our work easier!
